Chain Links

Description:
For this project we worked with a partner. We started with deciding on what 3 colors of construction paper we wanted and then white. We traced the pre-cut piece onto the construction paper and then cut out the pieces. After getting all the pieces cut out we then cut them into half, once they were cut into half we then folded them into links and secured it with a piece of tape. Me and my partner then laid them out in the pattern so that it was easier to follow, each color was connected with a white piece, after all the lines were done we put them onto the dowel and put a piece of string on the dowel so that it could be hung up.

Extension Activity:
I would use this as an activity for them to work on grids and how it is important to make sure that their numbers are correct. After they are done they would present them to the class and then they would be hung up in the hallway above their lockers.
